Laura is a native Texan who made the move to Austin in 2013 for a job opportunity and then immediately fell in love with the city's je ne sais quoi. It was hard to put into words, the combination of music, endless watering holes and of course the food. Isn't it a special experience, when you can just feel at home instantly in a new city?
From a young age, Laura has been both intrigued, and in love, with real estate. After some life-changing experiences and the realization of just how short life can be, she decided it was time to live a life of her own creation. Having once heard someone describe themselves as a "dreamcatcher", Laura now feels privileged to help friends catch their own dreams of home ownership. Laura will say that, "to do what you love is a blessing". Real estate is to her as wine is to a sommelier! She truly enjoys every aspect of real estate AND let's not forget about the architecture, intricate details, and THE POOLS! In fact invitations to your post-closing pool parties are a strings-attached requirement when working with her, haha!
Laura's main goal is to build a solid relationship with her clients. She is passionate about her craft. As a former military spouse and mother of an AU-some son on the spectrum, she knows just how stressful a move can be. Laura knows that her job is to make you feel at ease throughout the entire process. Besides helping you find your dream home, she will help you plug into Austin lifestyle too; because after all, buying a home is so much more than the four walls. Laura's life experiences have fueled her drive and compassionate nature. Outside of real estate you can catch her at Barton Springs Pool, Zilker park with her dogs, attending anything with live music, Paddle Boarding Lady Bird Lake or tending to her succulent garden. Besides loving to adventure travel or
simply visit the ocean to snorkel with sea turtles, stingrays, and nurse sharks - She is also highly competent in lightsaber dueling! Laura supports Flatwater Foundation, Austin Pets Alive, Autism Speaks, and the Sarcoma Foundation of America. Having been touched personally by all these causes, she says they hold a special place in her heart.
